1. The service

PDF Tools (pdftools.gotekn.com) is a free web application that edits PDF documents locally in your browser. We do not store, host or transmit your files.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to process documents you have no right to modify, or to:

• attack, overload or attempt to reverse-engineer the service infrastructure;
• resell the service or redistribute it as your own;
• violate any applicable law.

3. Your responsibility for your files

You are solely responsible for the documents you open and for keeping backups. Because processing happens on your device, a browser crash, a closed tab or a device failure can lose unsaved work.

4. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Some PDF features may not work on every document.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoTekn is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including data loss, arising from the use of the service.

6. Advertising

The service displays advertising from third parties to remain free. We are not responsible for the content, products or claims of those ads.

7. Changes

We may modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

1. El servicio

PDF Tools (pdftools.gotekn.com) es una aplicación web gratuita que edita documentos PDF localmente en tu navegador. No almacenamos, alojamos ni transmitimos tus archivos.

2. Uso aceptable

Te comprometes a no usar el servicio para procesar documentos que no tienes derecho a modificar, ni a:

• atacar, sobrecargar o intentar ingeniería inversa de la infraestructura del servicio;
• revender el servicio o redistribuirlo como propio;
• violar cualquier ley aplicable.

3. Tu responsabilidad sobre tus archivos

Eres el único responsable de los documentos que abres y de mantener respaldos. Como el procesamiento ocurre en tu dispositivo, un fallo del navegador, cerrar la pestaña o un fallo del equipo puede perder trabajo no guardado.

4. Sin garantías

El servicio se presta "tal cual" y "según disponibilidad", sin garantías de comerciabilidad, idoneidad para un fin particular ni no infracción. Algunas funciones de PDF pueden no funcionar en todos los documentos.

5. Limitación de responsabilidad

En la máxima medida permitida por la ley, GoTekn no es responsable de daños indirectos, incidentales o consecuentes, incluida la pérdida de datos, derivados del uso del servicio.

6. Publicidad

El servicio muestra publicidad de terceros para mantenerse gratis. No somos responsables del contenido, productos o afirmaciones de esos anuncios.

7. Cambios

Podemos modificar o descontinuar el servicio en cualquier momento sin aviso.
